May 2020: New Chair of Trustee Board
At the Charities A.G.M. at the end of April 2020, the trustees appointed Peter Watson-Lee as the new Chair of the Trustee Board to be effective from 1st May 2020. Peter is a Solicitor who lives in Highcliffe and he has worked in Christchurch for over 35 years. During that time, he has been involved with many of the town’s local organisations. Peter said that he was honoured to take up the role and hopes the Charities’ funds will be able to help the local community and residents, especially in the next months and years as we cope with the Covid-19 pandemic. The Trustees thanked the outgoing Chair, Clare Cherry (who remains as a Trustee) for her contribution during a period of significant change for the Charity.
